MUST WATCH: UNFAIR TREATMENT BY THE NIGERIA PORTS AUTHORITY........

This lady and 535 others were staffs of the  NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY, but they were treated unfairly

In 2003 they were employed by the Nigerian ports authority to undergo a 4 years training at the Nigerian ports authority technical training centre.

After their 4 years training they were supposed to be deployed to various department/sections of the organization (NPA)

But due to the privatization of the port only a few of them were deployed to the harbours department of the organization (NPA)

But the 535 trainee employees appointment were not terminated lawfully.

They have been pleading with NPA management to absorbed them. And also seek the intervention of the ministry of transportation and the national assembly even gave directive to the NPA management to reinstate them but to no avail.

Even when the NPA were recruiting in various section such as mooring, security, fire services and also made general employment, still yet they were not still considered, some of them had no choice other than to file a law suit against the NPA management.

Some years back the case was won by the ex NPA trainees at the high court which was later appealed by the NPA management. Presently, the case is in the national industrial court which its their only hope.
